Fluorosis Problem in Chagantivaripalem
Inline with the preaching of great leaders and spiritual saints of
India and the world, Pragathi has started its activities by focusing on a
village Chagantivaripalem. A village with a population of around
10,000 people
situated 30km away from the Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh, India. The
village is experiencing the Fluorinated water almost since it's origin. Till
now No Government, no social service organization and no prominent leaders of
the village took to their notice and solved the problem. It is true that all
the people in the village are consuming fluorine every day which comes along
with drinking water because of this all the 99% of the population in this
village suffer due to fluorosis. Equally there is no good power supply and
roads facility. If rainy season comes the people need to walk in the mud. No
bus facility into the village due to bad roads. There is no better drainage
system. All the laziness and corruption prevails for a long time which are not
concerned to anybody. All the moral values are neglected thinking that it wont serve for their happy life. Its the same
situation across the country in India and many other countries in the world
too. Pragathi has taken the initiative to start operating its activities in
this village by keeping in view of the disheartening situation here. Pragathi
