STOP CONSUMING LIQUOR - HELP THE POOR TO IMPROVE THE STANDARD OF THEIR LIVES
It is good to see the enthusiam and the leadership of our MLA,Sattenapalle, Guntur District Mr. Yerram Venkateswara Reddy who is uttering to stop consuming liquor. One of the ideals of Pragathi is to stop consuming liquor by the poor and ignorant people whose spoil become spoiled without having any development. We see in the villages the poor people consuming liquor and fall on the roads or beat or scold their wives by losing conciouness.

As said by Mahatma Gandhi and uttered by MLA we all should strive for this cause to create awareness among the poor who are consuming liquor. Also, it is good to close the liquor shops in the Mandal where these people have easy access. Atleast this way there would be some control for them.

Please listen to the speech of MLA how important it is to stop consuming liquor by the poor by creating awareness at the events page.
As suggested by him, Pragathi an NGO from the village Chagantivaripalem would start working on this with immediate affect by garnering the support of the interested sections of the society.

Requesting your suggestions and help identifying the poor and ignorant people who are consuming liquor in the village and get a list of all of them and we can have some planning how to educate and create awareness among them to stop consuming liquor and help improve the standard of their lives.

We appreciate the campaign on foot by MLA in the villages urging the poor and all sections of the society irrespective of the party or position to help stop consuming liquor mainly by the poor and all people.
